Client Spotlight: Food on the Move

Food on the Move Client Spotlight-2

As we think about our harvest, it is crucial to consider what we have harvested and how we have — as leaders — manifested that harvest. Success requires a collaboration of individuals and community who are focused not only on gaining sustenance in the near term, but a way forward through access, innovation, education, celebration, and planning.

As Kevin Harper, President & CEO of Food on the Move states, “It begins with helping people understand how to fish, and it requires an understanding that everyone is equal, everyone is hungry, and everyone needs to live with dignity.”

As we complete the year’s end, let us consider the good example of Food on the Move, which starts with how to generate food (including the food of knowledge) and ends with the collaboration of many to support the greater good. As you think about your role, consider these questions:

  • Have you provided the necessary ingredients and food to support your team and equip them to thrive in the mission?
  • Have you enabled the team to help and collaborate with each other?
  • Have you provided the necessary instruction to support performance for the greater good?

All is not lost. As we move forward to the end of the year, continue to help your employees to fish and thrive to support the mission and the vision of your organization.
